Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — Manufactured to the exact material and dimensional specifications of the original Multiquip edging, ensuring correct compression fit and enclosure integrity.
- Direct Drop-In Replacement — Engineered to seat and align the same way as the factory-installed component, requiring no trimming or adapting during installation.
- Confirmed Fitment — Compatible with DCA150SSI and DCA150SSIU ultra-silent diesel generator models.
- Enclosure Performance — A properly fitted edging maintains the acoustic and weather sealing of the generator housing; a worn or missing piece can compromise sound attenuation and expose internal components to the elements.
- Noise and Weatherproofing Compliance — On ultra-silent series generators, enclosure edging contributes directly to meeting sound-level expectations on noise-sensitive jobsites and protecting internal systems from moisture ingress.
The edging on a DCA-series ultra-silent generator serves as a trim and sealing element along the edges of the enclosure panels. It cushions panel joints, reduces vibration-induced contact noise between metal surfaces, and helps seal the enclosure against dust and moisture. When this component deteriorates, cracks, or goes missing, the generator enclosure can develop gaps that allow water intrusion, increase radiated noise levels, and cause panel rattle during operation.
