The Multiquip 0228900535 Rubber Seal is a genuine OEM component designed for the DCA70USI, DCA70USI2, and DCA70USI3CAN ultra-silent diesel generator series. Sourced directly from Multiquip, this seal matches the exact material grade and dimensional profile of the original part, ensuring a proper fit within the generator enclosure. It is confirmed compatible with DCA70USI, DCA70USI2, and DCA70USI3CAN units, making it a straightforward service replacement with no guesswork on fitment.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Material Grade — Manufactured to the same rubber compound specification as the original, maintaining the correct compression and sealing performance for generator enclosure applications.
- Direct-Fit Replacement — Dimensionally identical to the factory seal, seating correctly in the original channel or groove without modification to the surrounding housing.
- Confirmed Fitment — Compatible with DCA70USI, DCA70USI2, and DCA70USI3CAN Multiquip ultra-silent diesel generators.
- Enclosure Integrity — A properly functioning seal keeps moisture, dust, and debris from entering the generator cabinet, protecting sensitive electrical and mechanical components inside.
- Sound Attenuation Support — In ultra-silent generator enclosures, rubber seals also contribute to acoustic isolation; a degraded or missing seal can compromise the unit's noise-reduction performance.
A rubber seal in a generator enclosure serves as a barrier between the cabinet panels and the internal components, preventing the ingress of water, particulate, and environmental contaminants. In ultra-silent series generators like the DCA70USI family, these seals also play a role in maintaining the acoustic dampening properties of the enclosure. When a seal deteriorates, cracks, or loses its compression, it can allow moisture intrusion that leads to corrosion of electrical connections, and the generator's rated noise levels may no longer be achieved.
