The Multiquip 0228900740 Rubber Seal is a genuine OEM component designed for DCA125SSIU4F and DCA125SSJU4I series ultra-silent diesel generators. Sourced directly from Multiquip, this seal meets the exact material and dimensional specifications of the original part. It is confirmed to fit the DCA125SSIU4F, DCA125SSJU4I, and DCA125SSJU4i 60Hz generator models. Ordering by part number 0228900740 ensures you receive the correct seal for your application without guesswork.
Key Features
- OEM-Grade Rubber Compound — Manufactured to the same material specification as the original, ensuring proper compression, sealing force, and resistance to heat and fluids found in generator enclosure environments.
- Direct Drop-In Replacement — Engineered to the original profile and dimensions, this seal seats and compresses exactly as the factory part does, requiring no trimming or modification.
- Confirmed Fitment — Compatible with DCA125SSIU4F, DCA125SSJU4I, and DCA125SSJU4i 60Hz ultra-silent generator models in the Multiquip DCA series.
- Enclosure Integrity — A properly functioning rubber seal keeps moisture, dust, and debris out of the generator enclosure, protecting sensitive electrical and mechanical components from contamination.
- Sound Attenuation Support — In ultra-silent enclosure designs, perimeter seals contribute to noise suppression; a worn or cracked seal can compromise both acoustic and environmental protection.
A rubber seal in a generator enclosure forms a continuous barrier between panel sections, access doors, or component housings, preventing the ingress of water, dust, and airborne contaminants. In ultra-silent generator models like the DCA125SSIU4F and DCA125SSJU4I, these seals also play a role in maintaining the acoustic integrity of the enclosure by eliminating gaps that allow sound to escape. When a seal deteriorates — cracking, compressing permanently, or tearing — it creates openings that expose internal components to the elements and reduce the enclosure's effectiveness at dampening operational noise.
