The Multiquip 0228901450 is a genuine OEM Rubber Seal designed for DCA400SSI, DCA400SPK, and DCA400SSK-SUNBELT ultra-silent diesel powered generators. Sourced directly from Multiquip, this seal matches the original component specification for a straight-swap installation with no guesswork. It is the correct choice for scheduled maintenance or when replacing a worn or damaged seal on these generator models. DHS Equipment stocks this part to keep your DCA-series generator running tight and leak-free.
Key Features
- OEM Material Integrity — Manufactured to the same rubber compound and compression tolerances as the original, ensuring a consistent seal under operating temperatures and pressures found in diesel generator applications.
- Direct-Swap Installation — Matches the original profile and dimensions of the sealing surface on DCA-series generators, seating into position exactly as the factory component does.
- Confirmed Fitment — Verified for DCA400SSI, DCA400SPK, and DCA400SSK-SUNBELT ultra-silent diesel powered generators.
- Leak Prevention — A properly seated rubber seal keeps fluids and contaminants contained within the correct chambers, protecting internal generator components from contamination or fluid loss during operation.
- Long-Term Sealing Integrity — Genuine OEM rubber resists cracking, compression set, and degradation far better than generic substitutes, reducing the frequency of repeat seal replacements.
A rubber seal creates a compression-fit barrier between two mating surfaces, preventing fluid leakage, air ingress, or contaminant entry at that joint. In a diesel generator like the DCA400 series, seals are critical at multiple points throughout the engine, fuel, and cooling systems — a failed or hardened seal can allow fluid to migrate where it should not, leading to contamination, loss of pressure, or accelerated wear on surrounding components. Replacing a worn seal promptly with the correct OEM part restores the integrity of that joint and protects the components it isolates.
