The Multiquip 0228901670 Rubber Seal is a genuine OEM component designed for the DCA600SSV ultra-silent diesel generator. Sourced directly from Multiquip, this seal meets the original design specification for material grade and compression characteristics required in the DCA600SSV application. Whether you are performing scheduled maintenance or addressing a leak, this is the correct OEM replacement to restore proper sealing performance.
Key Features
- OEM-Grade Sealing Material — Manufactured to the original compound and durometer specification, ensuring correct compression set and long-term sealing integrity under generator operating conditions.
- Direct-Fit Installation — Matches the original profile and dimensions of the factory-installed seal, allowing straightforward installation without modification to mating surfaces.
- Confirmed Fitment for DCA600SSV — Verified for the Multiquip DCA600SSV ultra-silent generator series, so you can order with confidence.
- Leak Prevention — A worn or cracked seal allows fluid or air intrusion that can compromise generator performance, lead to contamination, and accelerate wear on surrounding components. Replacing it promptly protects the broader assembly.
- Genuine OEM Part — Supplied as an authorized Multiquip replacement, ensuring the part number this part matches the original component specification exactly.
A rubber seal creates a compressed barrier between mating surfaces or around a moving component to prevent fluid, air, or contaminant ingress. In a generator application, seals play a critical role in keeping lubrication where it belongs and external elements out of sensitive areas. When a seal hardens, cracks, or loses its compression set over time, leaks develop, contamination enters, and the surrounding components can suffer accelerated wear — making timely replacement an important part of any generator maintenance routine.
