The Multiquip 0229201170 Rubber Seal is a genuine OEM component designed for DCA125SSJU4I and DCA125SSJU4i 60Hz super-silent diesel generators. Sourced directly from Multiquip, this seal delivers the exact material grade and dimensional profile required for a proper, leak-free fit on these units. Whether you are performing routine maintenance or addressing a worn seal, part number 0229201170 ensures the repair is done right the first time.
Key Features
- OEM-Grade Sealing Material — Manufactured to the same rubber compound and compression spec as the original, ensuring consistent sealing performance under operational heat and vibration cycles.
- Direct-Fit Replacement — Matches the exact profile and dimensions of the original seal, seating correctly into its designated channel without rework or trimming.
- Confirmed Generator Fitment — Verified for use on DCA125SSJU4I and DCA125SSJU4i 60Hz super-silent diesel generator models.
- Leak Prevention — A correctly seated rubber seal maintains proper containment of fluids and protects internal components from contamination; a cracked or compressed seal can allow leaks that lead to accelerated wear elsewhere in the system.
- Genuine Multiquip OEM Part — Backed by Multiquip's parts program, so you can be confident this component meets the original design intent for the DCA super-silent generator series.
A rubber seal serves as a critical barrier between mating surfaces, preventing fluid or air from escaping where two components meet. On a super-silent diesel generator like the DCA125SSJU4I, seals are used throughout the engine, enclosure, and fluid systems to maintain containment and protect sensitive internal parts from contamination. When a seal hardens, cracks, or deforms over time, it can no longer maintain that barrier — leading to leaks, ingress of debris, or loss of operating pressure that affects generator reliability.
