The Multiquip 04153 Diesel Hose 9mm x 330mm is a genuine OEM replacement fuel hose designed for MVH408DZ and MVH508DZ reversible plate compactors. As a factory-sourced component, it meets the exact dimensional and material specifications required for proper fuel delivery on these heavy-duty machines. DHS Equipment stocks this part to help you get your compactor back in service with confidence. Verify your model code — MVH408DZ or MVH508DZ — before ordering to ensure a correct, hassle-free installation.
Key Features
- OEM-Grade Fuel Compatibility — Manufactured to resist diesel fuel permeation and degradation, ensuring the hose maintains its integrity under continuous fuel flow conditions.
- Exact-Dimension Replacement — At 9mm inner diameter and 330mm in length, this hose matches the original routing and connection points in the fuel system without cutting or adapting.
- Confirmed Fitment for MVH Series Reversible Plates — Specifically validated for the MVH408DZ and MVH508DZ, Multiquip's heavy-duty reversible plate compactor models.
- Maintains Consistent Fuel Delivery — A sound diesel hose keeps fuel flowing at the correct rate to the engine; a cracked or swollen hose can cause hard starts, fuel leaks, or erratic engine performance on the compactor.
- Fuel System Safety — A properly seated, undamaged diesel hose prevents fuel seepage near hot engine components, reducing fire risk on the worksite.
The diesel hose routes fuel from the tank to the engine on your plate compactor, acting as the conduit that keeps the fuel system sealed and flowing correctly. Over time, exposure to heat cycles, diesel fuel, and vibration can cause the hose to stiffen, crack, or swell at the ends — leading to fuel leaks or restricted flow that starves the engine. Replacing a worn hose with the correct Multiquip 04153 restores a proper seal and ensures uninterrupted fuel delivery so the compactor runs at full operating capacity.
