The Multiquip 0601000004 Wave Washer is a genuine OEM component designed for the DCA125SSK diesel powered generator. Sourced directly from Multiquip, this wave washer meets the original design specification for the DCA125SSK, ensuring a correct, direct-fit installation without modification. Keeping the right hardware in place is essential to maintaining proper clamping load and mechanical integrity across the assembly it serves.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Spring Tension: — Manufactured to the original load and deflection profile, this wave washer delivers the consistent spring force the DCA125SSK assembly requires — not an approximation.
- Direct Hardware Replacement: — Matches the original diameter, thickness, and wave geometry for a drop-in fit within the fastener stack where it was designed to seat.
- Confirmed DCA125SSK Fitment: — Validated for the Multiquip DCA125SSK ultra-silent diesel powered generator series, taking the guesswork out of parts sourcing.
- Maintains Proper Clamping Load: — A worn or flattened wave washer allows fasteners to loosen under vibration; replacing it with the correct OEM part restores the designed preload and keeps critical connections secure.
- Vibration Resistance: — Generator sets produce continuous mechanical vibration; this OEM wave washer is rated for that environment, resisting fatigue and loss of tension over extended run cycles.
A wave washer is a thin, corrugated spring element placed beneath a fastener to maintain consistent tension and absorb vibration within a bolted joint. In a generator set like the DCA125SSK, mechanical vibration from the engine and alternator is constant, and fasteners that lack proper preload can loosen over time, leading to misalignment, noise, or component damage. Replacing a flattened or fatigued wave washer with the correct OEM part restores the designed clamping force and keeps the assembly operating as intended.
