Multiquip 0601851780 Grommet

The Multiquip 0601851780 Grommet is a genuine OEM component designed for the DCA-series Ultra-Silent and Super-Silent diesel generator lineup, including the DCA220SSJ, DCA300SSC, DCA400SSI, DCA600SSK, DCA800SSK2, and related models. As a direct OEM replacement, this grommet meets the original design specifications Multiquip set for these generators, ensuring a correct fit without modification. DHS Equipment stocks this part to help keep your generator operating at full spec, backed by the confidence of sourcing directly from an authorized Multiquip dealer.

Key Features

• Genuine OEM Material Grade — Manufactured to Multiquip's original durometer and dimensional spec, delivering the same compression resistance and sealing profile as the part it replaces.
• Drop-In Installation — Seats into the same panel or cable-pass-through opening as the original, with no trimming or adapting required for a flush, secure fit.
• Broad DCA-Series Coverage — Compatible across a wide range of Multiquip DCA Ultra-Silent and Super-Silent generators, including DCA220SSJ, DCA300SSC, DCA400SSI, DCA600SSK, DCA800SSK2, DCA1100SSC, and many additional DCA variants.
• Electrical Protection — Properly seated, this grommet prevents chafing and abrasion on wire harnesses or hoses routed through panel cutouts, protecting insulation integrity in high-vibration generator environments.
• Verified OEM Part — Part 0601851780 is sourced directly through Multiquip's OEM supply chain, so you receive the exact component specified for your machine.

A grommet is a small but critical component fitted into a hole or cutout in a metal panel, housing, or frame. Its primary job is to protect wires, cables, or hoses from the sharp edges of the cutout, preventing the abrasion and chafing that leads to insulation wear, short circuits, or fluid line damage over time. In a diesel generator like the DCA series — where vibration is constant and wiring harnesses are numerous — a cracked, hardened, or missing grommet can allow progressive wire damage that causes electrical faults and unplanned downtime. Replacing a worn grommet promptly is a straightforward preventive step that protects far more expensive downstream components.
