The Multiquip 0601851795 Grommet is a genuine OEM component designed for Diesel Powered Generator models including the DCA125SSJU, DCA45SSIU2, and DCA70SSJU series. As a factory-sourced part, it meets the original design specifications for these ultra-silent generator units. This grommet is a direct replacement for the original component, ensuring a proper fit within the machine's wiring or mounting assembly. DHS Equipment stocks this part to help you get your generator back to full operation without unnecessary delay.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Material Grade — Manufactured to the original rubber compound and dimensional spec, delivering the correct compression seal and vibration resistance expected in generator applications.
- Drop-In Replacement — Seats directly into the original opening without rework, maintaining the integrity of the panel or enclosure it passes through.
- Confirmed Generator Fitment — Compatible with DCA125SSJU, DCA45SSIU2, and DCA70SSJU Diesel Powered Generator models.
- Protects Wiring and Hoses — Maintains a clean pass-through for cables or lines, preventing chafing and wear that can lead to electrical faults or fluid leaks over time.
- Electrical Safety Function — Acts as an insulating barrier between conductive cables and metal panel edges, helping to prevent shorts caused by abrasion in high-vibration generator environments.
A grommet serves as a protective lining inserted into a hole in a metal panel or housing, creating a smooth, sealed passage for wiring, cables, or hoses. Without it, the sharp edges of the opening can cut through insulation or tubing as the machine vibrates, leading to electrical shorts, fluid leaks, or accelerated wear on critical components. In generator applications where continuous vibration is present, a failed or missing grommet can compromise both the reliability of the electrical system and the safety of the surrounding assembly.
