The Multiquip 0602010796 Fan Cover is a genuine OEM component designed for DCA150SSJU and DCA150SSJU2 ultra-silent diesel generators. As a direct Multiquip OEM part, it is manufactured to the same specifications as the original, ensuring a correct, hassle-free installation. Sourced through DHS Equipment, this part is backed by Multiquip's OEM supply chain and is the correct replacement when your existing cover is cracked, damaged, or missing. Confirm your model against the fitment data before ordering to ensure a proper match.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — Manufactured to original design tolerances, ensuring the cover properly encloses and protects the cooling fan assembly without gaps or fitment issues.
- Direct-Fit Replacement — Engineered to align with the original mounting points on the generator housing, making installation straightforward with no trimming or modification needed.
- Confirmed Fitment — Compatible with Multiquip DCA150SSJU and DCA150SSJU2 ultra-silent series diesel generators.
- Airflow Protection — Maintains correct directional airflow over the cooling fan, preventing heat buildup that can reduce generator output and shorten component life.
- Debris Shielding — Shields the fan blades from external debris and accidental contact, protecting internal cooling components and helping maintain safe generator operation.
The fan cover on a diesel generator serves as a protective shroud that channels cooling airflow across the engine and alternator while guarding the fan blades from physical damage and debris ingestion. Without a properly seated cover, airflow becomes uncontrolled, reducing the efficiency of the cooling system and risking overheating during extended run cycles. A cracked or missing cover can also expose rotating fan components, creating a safety hazard for nearby operators.
