Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — Manufactured to the same clamp tension and material grade as the original, ensuring consistent sealing performance across cooling and fluid hose connections.
- Direct Drop-In Replacement — Matches the original mounting diameter and band width, sliding into position without rework or adjustment during installation.
- Broad DCA Series Compatibility — Confirmed fitment for DCA25SSI, DCA25SSAI, DCA40SSI, and DCA40SSAI ultra-silent diesel generators.
- Maintains Hose Integrity Under Load — A properly tensioned hose band holds connections firm during vibration and thermal cycling, preventing loosening that can lead to fluid loss or overheating.
- Fuel and Coolant System Safety — Correct clamping force on fuel and coolant hoses is critical to preventing leaks that pose fire or overheating hazards on enclosed generator systems.
A hose band is a clamping component that secures flexible hoses to fittings, ports, or rigid tubing throughout the generator's coolant, fuel, and air systems. It works by applying consistent radial pressure around the hose to prevent the connection from loosening under vibration, pressure fluctuations, or temperature changes. When a hose band fails, cracks, or loses tension, hoses can slip or weep fluid — leading to coolant loss, fuel seepage, or air leaks that compromise generator performance and create potential safety hazards.
