The Multiquip 0602014332 Hose Band is a genuine OEM component designed for DCA25SSIU and DCA25SSI2 ultra-silent diesel generators. As an original equipment part, it meets the exact material and dimensional specifications set for these machines, ensuring a secure, leak-free connection at the hose junction. This is a direct-fit replacement sourced through Multiquip's authorized parts program, making it the correct choice when servicing either the DCA25SSIU or DCA25SSI2.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Clamping Integrity — Manufactured to the exact tensile and dimensional spec required for hose retention on DCA25-series generator cooling and fluid systems, preventing loosening under vibration and heat cycling.
- Direct-Fit Replacement — Engineered to install in the same position and orientation as the original, with no trimming or adapting needed to seat correctly on the hose port.
- Confirmed Fitment — Compatible with DCA25SSIU and DCA25SSI2 ultra-silent diesel generator models.
- Leak Prevention — A correctly torqued hose band maintains the seal across coolant, fuel, or air induction lines; a worn or cracked band risks fluid loss and generator downtime in the field.
- Fluid System Safety — On a generator handling fuel and coolant lines under operating pressure, using a correctly rated OEM band is essential to maintaining system integrity and avoiding hazardous leaks.
A hose band — commonly called a hose clamp — is a fastening component that secures a flexible hose onto a fitting, nipple, or pipe stub to create a sealed connection. It works by applying even radial clamping force around the hose circumference, preventing the hose from slipping off or leaking under pressure, vibration, or thermal expansion. When a hose band fails — through corrosion, fatigue, or improper torque — hoses can loosen and allow coolant, fuel, or air to escape, leading to overheating, fuel contamination, or loss of generator output.
