The Multiquip 0602015301 Hose Band is a genuine OEM component designed for DCA300SSC, DCA300SSCU, and MQP240 diesel-powered generators. As a direct OEM replacement, it is manufactured to the exact specifications required by Multiquip, ensuring a proper, secure connection wherever it is installed in the cooling or fluid circuit. DHS Equipment stocks this part to keep your generator fleet running without unnecessary delays.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Clamping Integrity — Manufactured to Multiquip's exact torque and band-width specifications, ensuring full compression and a leak-free seal on hose connections.
- Direct OEM Replacement — Installs in the same position as the original band with no rework to existing hose fittings or routing required.
- Confirmed Generator Fitment — Verified for use on DCA300SSC, DCA300SSCU, and MQP240 series diesel-powered generators.
- Prevents Coolant or Fluid Loss — A worn or failed hose band allows hoses to slip or weep fluid under pressure, which can cause overheating and unplanned generator shutdowns.
- Fuel and Cooling System Safety — Properly retained hoses in a generator's fuel and coolant circuits are critical to safe continuous operation; using a correctly rated OEM band maintains that integrity.
A hose band is a clamping fastener that holds flexible hoses firmly onto their fittings within a generator's cooling, fuel, or fluid circuits. It works by applying even radial pressure around the hose to prevent slippage, weeping, or blowoff under system pressure. When a hose band corrodes, loses tension, or fails entirely, the hose can shift or separate — leading to fluid leaks, loss of coolant pressure, or engine overheating that takes the generator offline.
