The Multiquip 0602015302 Hose Band is a genuine OEM component designed for DCA300SSC, DCA300SSCU, and MQP240 series diesel powered generators. As a direct OEM replacement, this hose band is built to the same specifications as the original hardware, ensuring a secure, leak-free connection within the generator's cooling and fluid routing system. Sourced directly through authorized Multiquip supply channels, part 0602015302 is the correct choice when maintaining or restoring these generator models to original operating condition.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Clamping Integrity — Manufactured to the original compression and material specification, delivering consistent sealing performance across the hose connection points found on these generator platforms.
- Direct-Fit Installation — Dimensioned to match the original hose band position on DCA300SSC, DCA300SSCU, and MQP240 generators, allowing straightforward swap-out without adapting or sourcing alternative hardware.
- Confirmed Fitment — Verified for use on DCA300SSC, DCA300SSCU, and MQP240 diesel powered generator models.
- Leak Prevention — A correctly tensioned hose band maintains a tight seal on coolant and fluid hoses; a worn or improperly sized band risks coolant loss, overheating, and unplanned generator downtime on the job.
- Fuel and Coolant System Safety — In generator applications where hoses carry hot coolant under pressure, using the correct OEM-spec band helps prevent hose blowoffs that could pose a burn or fluid-contact hazard during operation.
A hose band — commonly known as a hose clamp — secures flexible hoses to fittings, nipples, or rigid connections within a generator's cooling, fuel, or fluid systems. It works by applying even radial pressure around the hose to prevent it from slipping off or allowing fluid to escape under pressure or heat cycling. When a hose band corrodes, loses tension, or fails entirely, the hose it secures can leak or detach, leading to coolant loss, overheating, or fuel system faults that can take a generator out of service quickly.
