The Multiquip 0602015303 Hose Band is a genuine OEM component designed for DCA300SSC, DCA300SSCU, DCA300SSCU2, DCA300SSCU4i, and MQP240 series diesel powered generators. As a direct OEM replacement, this hose band is built to the same specification as the original, ensuring a secure, leak-free connection in your machine's cooling or fluid routing system. Sourced directly through authorized Multiquip supply channels, the part delivers the fit and retention force your generator depends on. DHS Equipment stocks genuine Multiquip parts so you can get your machine back in service without compromise.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Clamping Integrity — Manufactured to Multiquip's original torque and retention specifications, delivering the consistent clamping force critical to maintaining sealed hose connections in a high-vibration generator environment.
- Direct Drop-In Replacement — Engineered to match the original band profile and fastener style, allowing straightforward installation without reworking hose ends or fittings.
- Confirmed Generator Fitment — Compatible with DCA300SSC, DCA300SSCU, DCA300SSCU2, DCA300SSCU4i, and MQP240 diesel powered generator models.
- Leak Prevention at the Source — A properly tensioned hose band keeps coolant and fluid lines firmly seated; a worn or failed band risks hose slippage, fluid loss, and generator overheating under load.
- Fluid System Safety — On diesel generator platforms, a failed hose retention point can lead to uncontrolled coolant loss or fuel line exposure — using the correct OEM band maintains the integrity of the sealed system.
A hose band is a clamping fastener used to secure flexible hoses onto fittings, ports, or pipes within a machine's cooling, fuel, or fluid transfer system. It works by applying even radial pressure around the hose circumference, preventing the hose from loosening under heat cycling, pressure fluctuations, and vibration. When a hose band corrodes, loses tension, or fails, the hose can slip or weep fluid — leading to overheating, pressure loss, or contamination that can sideline the generator until the connection is properly restored.
