The Multiquip 0605501073 is a genuine OEM Fuel Sender Unit designed for DCA-70USJ, DCA85USJ, and DCA85USJ2 ultra-silent diesel generators. As a direct OEM replacement, this unit is sourced from Multiquip and built to the exact specifications your generator requires for accurate fuel level monitoring. Verify your model code against the fitment list before ordering to ensure a correct match.
Key Features
- OEM-Calibrated Signal Output — Manufactured to the precise resistance range and sweep profile required for accurate fuel gauge readings on Multiquip ultra-silent generator fuel systems.
- Direct-Fit Installation — Matches the mounting flange, float arm geometry, and electrical connector of the original unit for a straightforward drop-in swap with no adaptation.
- Confirmed Fitment — Compatible with DCA-70USJ, DCA85USJ, and DCA85USJ2 ultra-silent diesel generator models.
- Accurate Fuel Level Monitoring — A correctly functioning sender keeps the fuel gauge reading true, allowing operators to schedule refueling before run-dry shutdowns interrupt critical power supply.
- Genuine Multiquip OEM Part — Supplied as an original equipment component under part number 0605501073, ensuring the replacement matches the unit your generator left the factory with.
The fuel sender unit is a float-and-resistor assembly mounted inside the fuel tank. As the fuel level rises and falls, the float moves an arm that sweeps a resistor, changing the electrical signal sent to the dashboard fuel gauge. When the sender fails or wears out, the gauge may read empty when the tank is full, full when it is nearly dry, or simply stop responding altogether. Replacing a faulty sender unit with a correctly calibrated OEM component restores accurate fuel level indication, giving operators and site managers the visibility they need to keep the generator running without interruption.
