The Multiquip 0605515213 Hose Band is a genuine OEM component designed for DCA400SSI, DCA150SSI, and DCA150SSIU ultra-silent diesel generators. Sourced directly from Multiquip, this part meets the exact specifications required for proper hose retention and sealing within these machines. It is a direct replacement for the original part, confirming compatibility with the DCA-series generator models listed.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Clamp Integrity — Manufactured to the same tensile and dimensional tolerances as the original, ensuring consistent clamping force around hose connections.
- Drop-In Replacement — Installs in the same position as the factory band with no rework to surrounding hose assemblies or fittings.
- Confirmed Fitment — Verified for DCA400SSI, DCA150SSI, and DCA150SSIU ultra-silent diesel generator models.
- Coolant System Dependability — A properly seated hose band maintains a leak-free connection; a failed or loose band can allow coolant loss, leading to overheating and unplanned generator shutdowns.
- Fuel and Fluid System Safety — Correct hose retention is critical in generator applications where fuel, coolant, or oil lines operate under sustained load and temperature cycling.
A hose band — commonly referred to as a hose clamp — is a fastening device used to secure flexible hoses onto fittings, barbs, or nipples within a machine's fluid systems, including coolant, fuel, and oil circuits. It works by applying radial clamping force around the hose to prevent fluid from leaking at the connection point. When a hose band loosens, cracks, or loses its clamping ability, the result is fluid seepage or sudden hose separation, which can quickly lead to overheating, fluid contamination, or engine damage on a working generator.
