The Multiquip 0728002023 Hose Band is a genuine OEM component designed for the DCA600SSK diesel powered generator. As a direct OEM replacement, this hose band is manufactured to the same specifications as the original part, ensuring a secure, leak-free connection within the cooling or fluid system. Sourced directly through authorized Multiquip supply channels, this part is the correct choice for technicians and operators maintaining DCA600SSK units. Verify your part number against your machine's service documentation before ordering to confirm compatibility.
Key Features
- OEM Clamping Integrity — Engineered to deliver the same clamping force and sealing performance as the original component, maintaining hose connections under operating pressures and temperatures specific to diesel generator applications.
- Direct-Fit Replacement — Sized and configured to install in the same position as the factory hose band, requiring no trimming, adapting, or workarounds during service.
- DCA600SSK Compatibility — Specifically confirmed for the Multiquip DCA600SSK diesel powered generator, so you can order with confidence for that platform.
- Prevents Coolant and Fluid Leaks — A worn or failed hose band can allow hose slippage or weeping leaks that lead to overheating or fluid loss; replacing it promptly keeps the fluid circuit intact and the generator running at full capacity.
- Genuine Multiquip Part — Carrying part number 0728002023, this is an authentic OEM component backed by Multiquip's supply chain, not a generic substitute.
A hose band is a clamping fastener that secures a hose to a fitting, port, or nipple within a machine's fluid circuit — most commonly in cooling, fuel, or air intake systems. By maintaining a tight, consistent seal around the hose end, it prevents slippage and stops fluid from escaping under pressure or vibration. When a hose band corrodes, loses tension, or fails, the resulting leak can cause overheating, fuel loss, or system contamination, leading to costly unplanned downtime on the generator.
