The Multiquip 0728100419 Hose Band is a genuine OEM component designed for DCA800SSK and DCA800SSK-GEER diesel-powered ultra-silent generators. As a direct OEM replacement, it is manufactured to the exact specification required by these units, ensuring a secure, leak-free connection at its installation point. Sourced directly through authorized Multiquip distribution, this part is verified to match the original component on your DCA800SSK series machine.
Key Features
- OEM-Grade Clamping Integrity — Manufactured to the original tensile and dimensional spec, delivering consistent clamping force without distortion or slippage over the hose collar.
- Drop-In Installation — Matches the original mounting diameter and band width, allowing the 0728100419 to seat and tighten exactly as the factory-installed unit did.
- Confirmed DCA800SSK Fitment — Verified for DCA800SSK and DCA800SSK-GEER ultra-silent generator models; use your model code to confirm before ordering.
- Leak Prevention at the Source — A correctly tensioned hose band keeps coolant or fuel lines sealed under operating pressure; a worn or failed band can result in fluid weeping, overheating, or unplanned shutdowns.
- Genuine OEM Traceability — Supplied as a genuine Multiquip part, so you receive the same component specified in the original service documentation for these generator models.
A hose band is a clamp that encircles a flexible hose where it joins a rigid fitting, nipple, or port, applying even radial pressure to hold the connection sealed under operating conditions. On a generator like the DCA800SSK, hose bands are used across the cooling and fuel systems to prevent leaks that could compromise engine temperature regulation or fuel delivery. When a hose band corrodes, loses tension, or fractures, the hose can work loose under vibration or thermal cycling, leading to fluid loss and potential engine damage if left unaddressed.
