The Multiquip 0728900170 Hose Band is a genuine OEM component designed for DCA800SSK and DCA800SSK-GEER ultra-silent diesel generator models. As a direct OEM replacement, it meets the exact specifications required for proper hose retention and sealing within the generator's cooling and fluid circuit system. Sourced directly through authorized Multiquip channels, this part ensures the correct fit for DCA800SSK series equipment without adaptation or guesswork.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Clamping Integrity — Manufactured to the same material and dimensional specification as the original, ensuring consistent clamping force and hose retention across the full operating temperature range of the DCA800SSK.
- Direct Drop-In Replacement — Designed to seat and tighten exactly as the original band did, using the same mounting and fastening interface already present on your machine.
- Confirmed Fitment for DCA800SSK Series — Verified for use on the DCA800SSK and DCA800SSK-GEER ultra-silent diesel generator models.
- Leak Prevention — A correctly installed hose band maintains a secure, pressure-tight connection between hoses and fittings, helping prevent coolant or fluid weeping that can compromise generator performance and lead to costly repairs.
- Fluid System Safety — In fuel and coolant circuits, a properly rated hose band is critical to maintaining system pressure and preventing hazardous leaks under load.
A hose band — commonly known as a hose clamp — is a fastening device used to secure flexible hoses onto fittings, pipes, or nozzles within a machine's cooling, fuel, or fluid transfer circuits. It works by applying even radial pressure around the hose to form a leak-free seal under operating pressure. When a hose band loosens, corrodes, or fails, the connection it holds can weep or fully release, leading to fluid loss, overheating, or unplanned downtime on the generator.
