The Multiquip 0840655804 Starter Switch Decal is a genuine OEM component designed for DCA500SSK and DCA600SSK ultra-silent diesel generator models. As a direct OEM replacement, this decal meets Multiquip's original print and material specifications, ensuring the control panel labeling reads exactly as intended from the factory. It is confirmed compatible with the DCA500SSK and DCA600SSK series, making it a straightforward replacement for worn, damaged, or missing panel markings. Sourced directly through authorized Multiquip supply channels, this part ships as the same component used in original production.
Key Features
- OEM-Matched Print Quality — Produced to Multiquip's original artwork and material specifications, so text, iconography, and color match the control panel exactly as built.
- Direct Panel Replacement — Sized and adhesive-backed to fit the original starter switch position on the DCA500SSK and DCA600SSK control panels without trimming or rework.
- Confirmed Generator Fitment — Verified for use on DCA500SSK and DCA600SSK ultra-silent diesel generators in the DCA series lineup.
- Operational Clarity Restored — A legible starter switch label ensures operators can identify and use the correct control quickly, particularly important during low-light or high-pressure startup conditions.
- Safety-Critical Panel Labeling — Clear control identification on generator panels is essential for correct startup sequencing and helps prevent operator error when engaging or disengaging power.
The starter switch decal serves as the identifying label for the generator's starter switch control on the operator panel. When this decal fades, peels, or becomes illegible, it creates uncertainty around which control initiates startup, which can lead to incorrect switch activation — especially on multi-control panels like those found on the DCA500SSK and DCA600SSK. Replacing a worn decal restores clear, unambiguous panel labeling and keeps the generator's control interface compliant with its original design intent.
