The Multiquip 1112820120 Cover Packing is a genuine OEM component designed for the DCA60SSAI ultra-silent diesel generator. As a direct OEM replacement, this packing delivers the exact material grade and compression profile required to maintain a proper seal at the cover interface. Sourced directly through Multiquip's authorized parts network, the part is the correct specification part for DCA60SSAI service and maintenance.
Key Features
- OEM Sealing Material Grade — Manufactured to the original compression and material specification, ensuring the cover packing seats and seals the way the machine was engineered to perform.
- Direct Cover Interface Fit — Matches the original profile exactly, dropping into place at the cover mount point without rework or trimming.
- Confirmed Fitment for DCA60SSAI — Verified for the Multiquip DCA60SSAI ultra-silent diesel generator series, so you can order with confidence.
- Protects Against Contaminant Ingress — A properly functioning cover packing keeps moisture, dust, and debris out of the enclosure, protecting internal generator components from premature wear or corrosion.
- Fuel and Fluid Compatibility — Engineered to resist degradation from fluids and environmental exposure common in generator enclosure applications.
A cover packing creates a compression seal between a removable cover panel and the generator enclosure body. Its role is to prevent outside contaminants — moisture, dust, and airborne debris — from entering the enclosure and reaching sensitive electrical or mechanical components. When the packing wears, compresses flat, or tears, the seal breaks down, leaving internal components exposed to the environment and increasing the risk of corrosion, electrical faults, or premature component failure.
