The Multiquip 1585263240 Bushing is a genuine OEM component designed for the DA7000SSA2, DA7000SSA2GH, DAC7000SS, DAC7000SSW, and DAC7000SSA super-silent diesel generator models. Sourced directly from Multiquip, this bushing is manufactured to the same specifications as the original part installed at the factory, ensuring a correct, trouble-free fit. If you are servicing any of the compatible DAC or DA7000SS series generators, verifying you have the right part number — 1585263240 — before ordering is always the best first step.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — Manufactured to the exact material grade and dimensional tolerances of the original bushing, maintaining the tight clearances that precision generator assemblies demand.
- Drop-In Fitment — Engineered to seat and align the same way as the original, requiring no custom fitting or machining during installation.
- Broad DAC/DA7000SS Series Coverage — Confirmed fitment across the DA7000SSA2, DA7000SSA2GH, DAC7000SS, DAC7000SSW, and DAC7000SSA generator models.
- Wear Resistance — A correctly functioning bushing reduces friction between mating components, preventing accelerated wear on surrounding parts and extending service intervals.
- Protects Critical Generator Assemblies — Bushing failure can lead to unwanted movement, vibration, or contact between components, which risks damage to adjacent generator parts during operation.
A bushing is a cylindrical sleeve fitted between two moving or stationary components to reduce friction, absorb load, and maintain precise alignment within an assembly. In super-silent diesel generators like the DAC and DA7000SS series, bushings are used throughout the drivetrain and structural assemblies to keep components correctly positioned under continuous operating loads. When a bushing wears out or fails, the resulting play or metal-to-metal contact can cause noise, vibration, premature wear on surrounding components, and — if left unaddressed — more significant mechanical damage that is far costlier to repair.
