The Multiquip 1664121112 is a genuine OEM Piston DCA-15SPX V2203 designed for the DCA-15SPX ultra-silent diesel generator. Sourced directly from Multiquip, this piston is manufactured to the exact dimensions and material specifications of the original component fitted at the factory. It is confirmed compatible with the DCA-15SPX platform running the Isuzu V2203 diesel engine. When your generator is down, installing the correct OEM piston ensures the engine returns to its rated output and run quality without compromise.
Key Features
- OEM-Matched Bore Tolerances — Cast and machined to the precise dimensional specifications of the original Isuzu V2203 piston, ensuring correct compression ratio and ring seal from the first start.
- Direct Drop-In for DCA-15SPX — Engineered specifically for the DCA-15SPX ultra-silent generator; installs into the V2203 engine block using the same pin, rings, and hardware as the factory component.
- Confirmed DCA-15SPX Fitment — Part 1664121112 is verified for the DCA-15SPX generator family; always confirm your model and engine serial before ordering.
- Restores Full Compression and Power Output — A worn or damaged piston causes loss of compression, excessive oil consumption, and unstable generator output; replacing it with the correct OEM part restores full engine performance and load capacity.
- Genuine Multiquip OEM Component — Supplied through the authorized Multiquip parts network, this piston meets the same material grade and heat-treatment standards as the part it replaces.
The piston is the reciprocating component inside the engine cylinder that compresses the air-fuel mixture and transfers combustion force to the crankshaft via the connecting rod. In a diesel generator like the DCA-15SPX, the piston must maintain a precise fit within the cylinder bore to sustain the high compression ratios diesel combustion requires. When a piston wears, cracks, or scores, compression drops, oil enters the combustion chamber, and the engine can no longer deliver stable electrical output — making prompt replacement with the correct part critical to restoring safe, reliable generator operation.
