Multiquip 1D41 Engine Hatz 3S79 MVH302

The Multiquip 1D41 Engine Hatz 3S79 MVH302 is a genuine OEM engine designed for the MVH302 reversible plate compactor. As a factory-sourced replacement, this engine matches the original specification and installation configuration of the MVH302, ensuring a correct, direct swap without guesswork. Sourced directly through Multiquip's OEM supply chain, the part delivers the same power output and mounting interface as the unit it replaces. If your MVH302 is down due to engine failure or irreparable engine wear, this is the verified replacement to get it back to work.

Key Features

• Genuine OEM Engine Assembly — Factory-sourced Hatz 3S79 engine built to the exact output and configuration spec of the original MVH302 power unit.
• Direct-Mount Compatibility — Engineered to align with the MVH302 frame, mounting points, and drive interface for a straightforward engine replacement.
• MVH302 Fitment Confirmed — Verified for the Multiquip MVH302 reversible plate compactor; check your model code before ordering to confirm applicability.
• Full Power Restoration — A worn or seized engine robs the compactor of centrifugal force output; replacing with the correct Hatz 3S79 restores full compaction performance and plate travel.
• Hatz 3S79 Diesel Reliability — The Hatz 3S79 is a compact, air-cooled diesel known for durability in demanding compaction applications where vibration and heat stress are constant factors.

The engine is the primary power source of the MVH302 reversible plate compactor, driving the exciter unit that generates the vibration force used to compact soil, gravel, and asphalt. Without a properly functioning engine, the plate cannot develop the centrifugal force needed for effective compaction passes. A failed or degraded engine results in reduced plate movement, loss of compaction depth, and ultimately a machine that cannot meet job specification — making timely engine replacement critical to keeping your compaction work on schedule.
