The Multiquip 2281705303 is a genuine OEM Rocker Cover DY35 MVH-302DA, designed for DY35 and MVH-302DA series equipment. As a direct OEM replacement, this cover is manufactured to the same specification as the original component, ensuring a correct, lasting fit with no guesswork on compatibility. Sourced through Multiquip's authorized parts network, the part is the right call when you need confidence in every component going back on the machine.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — Manufactured to the original material and dimensional spec, delivering the same sealing performance as the factory-installed cover.
- Direct-Fit Replacement — Engineered to bolt directly onto DY35 and MVH-302DA equipment, aligning with existing gasket surfaces and fastener locations for a clean installation.
- Compatible with DY35 and MVH-302DA — Confirmed fitment for these Multiquip reversible plate compactor models, so you can order with confidence.
- Maintains Valve Train Protection — A properly sealed rocker cover keeps oil vapor and contaminants where they belong, protecting rocker arms, push rods, and valve components from premature wear.
- Leak-Free Sealing Integrity — Correct cover-to-head contact is critical on diesel-powered compactors running in demanding site conditions; an OEM cover ensures the sealing surface is never compromised.
The rocker cover seals the top of the engine's valve train compartment, containing oil mist and preventing external contamination from reaching the rocker arms and valves. A cracked, warped, or improperly sealed rocker cover allows oil to leak externally and lets dirt and debris enter the valve train, accelerating wear and risking more serious engine damage. Replacing a damaged or deteriorated cover with a correct-fit OEM part like the part restores the engine's protective barrier and keeps the valve train operating cleanly.
