The Multiquip 2467730301 G45R Fuel Solenoid (Stow) is a genuine OEM component designed for the Multiquip G45R generator. Sourced directly from Multiquip, this solenoid is built to the exact specification of the original part, ensuring correct electrical and mechanical compatibility with your machine. If you're troubleshooting a generator that won't start or isn't shutting down cleanly, this is the part to reach for.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Electrical Spec — Manufactured to the exact resistance and actuation rating required for the G45R fuel system, so the solenoid opens and closes at precisely the right moment.
- Direct-Swap Installation — Matches the original mounting configuration and connector type on the G45R, allowing straightforward removal and reinstallation without modification.
- Confirmed G45R Fitment — Verified for use on the Multiquip G45R (Stow) generator series using part number 2467730301.
- Fuel System Integrity — A properly functioning solenoid maintains consistent fuel flow control, keeping your generator starting and stopping as intended under load.
- Shutdown System Reliability — Solenoid failure is a leading cause of hard-start and no-shutdown conditions; replacing with a genuine OEM unit restores correct low-oil and ignition-off cutoff behavior.
A fuel solenoid controls the flow of fuel to the carburetor or fuel system by opening when the ignition is activated and closing when the engine is switched off or a safety shutoff is triggered. On generators like the G45R, it plays a critical role in both clean starting and safe shutdown — including automatic cutoff during low-oil events. When the solenoid fails, symptoms typically include an engine that cranks but won't start, or one that continues to run after the ignition is turned off.
