The Multiquip 29895 Generator is a genuine OEM replacement built for the LT6KV (60HZ) Towable Towers series light tower. As a direct OEM component sourced through Multiquip's authorized parts network, it is manufactured to the same specifications as the original unit installed at the factory. DHS Equipment supplies this part to contractors and service technicians who need a correct, confidence-inspiring replacement that restores full electrical output to their light tower.
Key Features
- OEM-Matched Power Output: — Wound and rated to the original 60Hz electrical specification, ensuring the generator delivers the correct voltage and frequency your light tower's fixtures and controls require.
- Direct-Mount Replacement: — Engineered to the same mounting footprint and connection points as the original, allowing straightforward installation without fabrication or adaptation.
- Confirmed Fitment: — Verified for the LT6KV (60HZ) Towable Towers light tower series; use part number 29895 to confirm compatibility before ordering.
- Restored Lighting Performance: — A failed or degraded generator causes flickering output, voltage drop, or complete loss of site lighting; this replacement brings the tower back to full operational illumination capacity.
- Electrical Safety Compliance: — As a genuine OEM generator, it meets the original insulation ratings and load tolerances specified for this light tower, keeping the electrical system operating within its designed safety parameters.
The generator in a light tower is the component responsible for converting mechanical engine power into usable AC electrical output that feeds the tower's lamp heads and control circuits. When the generator windings wear, short, or fail, the tower loses the ability to produce consistent voltage, resulting in dim or non-functional lights at the worksite. Replacing it with the correct OEM unit — Multiquip part 29895 — restores proper 60Hz output and ensures the light tower performs exactly as intended under load.
