Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — Manufactured to original Multiquip specifications, ensuring the correct material strength and dimensional accuracy needed to hold a fuel or fluid tank securely under generator operating conditions.
- Direct-Mount Replacement — Designed to align with the original mounting points and hardware on compatible units, allowing straightforward installation without modification to surrounding components.
- Confirmed Fitment — Verified for the DCA-150SSKII and DCA150SSK2 super-silent diesel generator models, so you can order with confidence that this is the correct band for your machine.
- Secure Tank Retention — A properly functioning tank band keeps the fuel or fluid tank firmly positioned during operation, preventing unwanted movement, vibration-induced wear, and potential leaks.
- Fuel System Integrity — Replacing a worn, cracked, or failed tank band promptly preserves the integrity of the tank mounting system, helping prevent fuel spillage and the safety hazards associated with unsecured tanks on operating generator equipment.
A tank band is a retention strap or bracket that secures the fuel or fluid tank to the generator frame, keeping it firmly in place during operation. Generators produce sustained vibration during use, and a worn or broken tank band allows the tank to shift, which can stress fuel lines, damage tank fittings, and create leak points. Replacing a failed tank band restores proper tank support and is an important step in maintaining safe, stable generator operation.
