The Multiquip 8225523104 Tank Band is a genuine OEM component designed for the DCA400 and DCA600 series ultra-silent diesel generators. As an authorized OEM part, it is produced to the exact specifications required by the original equipment, ensuring a direct, correct installation every time. This Tank Band is confirmed to fit DCA400SSI, DCA400SSK, DCA400SSK2, DCA400SSV, DCA400SPK, and DCA600SSV models.
Key Features
- OEM-Matched Material and Form: — Manufactured to the precise dimensions and material grade of the original Tank Band, ensuring proper clamping tension and secure fuel tank retention.
- Direct-Fit Installation: — Engineered to align with existing mounting points on DCA400 and DCA600 series generators, so installation follows the original assembly procedure without additional modification.
- Broad DCA Series Compatibility: — Fits DCA400SSI, DCA400SSK, DCA400SSK2, DCA400SSV, DCA400SPK, and DCA600SSV ultra-silent generator models.
- Maintains Fuel System Integrity: — A properly secured tank band holds the fuel tank firmly in position, preventing movement that can stress fuel lines and connections during generator operation.
- Fuel System Safety: — A failed or loose tank band can allow the fuel tank to shift under load, creating potential fuel line stress or leak points — replacing it promptly preserves safe generator operation.
A tank band is a retaining strap or bracket that clamps the fuel tank securely to the generator frame, keeping it held firmly in place during operation and transport. Without proper retention, vibration and movement can put stress on fuel lines and fittings, leading to leaks or connection failures over time. When a tank band corrodes, cracks, or loses its clamping strength, replacing it with a genuine OEM part like the Multiquip 8225523104 restores the secure, stable fuel tank mounting the generator was built to operate with.
