- Supports Proper Air Filtration — A secure, correctly positioned bracket keeps the air cleaner firmly seated, preventing movement or misalignment that can compromise the air intake seal and allow unfiltered air into the engine.

The air cleaner bracket is a structural mounting component that holds the air cleaner assembly in its correct position on the engine. It ensures the air filter remains securely fixed and properly sealed against the intake, preventing vibration-induced movement that could allow dirt or debris to bypass the filter element. When this bracket is bent, cracked, or missing, the air cleaner can shift out of alignment, compromising filtration and accelerating engine wear over time.
