The Multiquip 9097160700 Rubber Wire Clip is a genuine OEM component designed for the DCA25SSIU ultra-silent diesel generator. Sourced directly from Multiquip, this clip meets the exact material and dimensional specifications of the original part installed at the factory. It is a direct replacement for the DCA25SSIU, ensuring a correct, secure fit without any modification to the wiring harness or surrounding hardware. Keep a spare on hand to avoid any interruption during routine service or field repairs.
Key Features
- OEM-Grade Rubber Compound — Molded from the same rubber specification as the original, providing the correct flexibility, grip, and resistance to heat and vibration found inside the DCA25SSIU enclosure.
- Correct Retention and Routing — Designed to seat securely in the factory mounting point, holding wire harness runs firmly in position without over-compressing the insulation.
- Confirmed DCA25SSIU Fitment — Verified for the Multiquip DCA25SSIU ultra-silent diesel generator; use part number 9097160700 to confirm the right clip for your machine.
- Protects Wiring Integrity — A worn or missing wire clip allows harness movement and chafing, which can cause shorts, intermittent faults, or generator shutdowns; replacing it restores proper harness support.
- Genuine Multiquip OEM Part — Authentic replacement backed by Multiquip's parts program, giving you confidence that fit and material quality match the original specification exactly.
A rubber wire clip is a small but critical harness management component inside the generator enclosure. Its job is to hold sections of the wiring harness securely against the frame or panel, preventing movement caused by engine vibration during operation. When a clip cracks, loses its grip, or goes missing entirely, the wire it supports can rub against sharp edges or hot surfaces, leading to insulation damage, electrical faults, or unplanned shutdowns — all of which are far more costly to repair than the clip itself.
