The Multiquip B3331102203 Muffler is a genuine OEM component designed for DCA45 series super-silent and diesel-powered generators, including the DCA45SSKU3 and DCA45SSKU. Sourced directly from Multiquip, this muffler is built to match the original unit in fit, material, and exhaust flow characteristics. Confirmed fitment for DCA45, DCA45SSKU3, and DCA45SSKU makes this the straightforward, no-guesswork solution for scheduled maintenance or exhaust system repair.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Exhaust Integrity — Manufactured to the original exhaust back-pressure specification, ensuring combustion efficiency is not compromised by an ill-fitting aftermarket substitute.
- Direct-Fit Replacement — Mounts to the existing exhaust outlet using the original hardware positions, with no reworking of the exhaust routing or mounting brackets.
- Confirmed Fitment — Verified for DCA45, DCA45SSKU3, and DCA45SSKU super-silent and diesel-powered generator models in the Multiquip DCA series.
- Sound Attenuation Maintained — Restores the noise-suppression performance these generators are known for, keeping the unit compliant with noise-sensitive worksite requirements.
- Exhaust Safety Compliance — A correctly sealed, structurally sound muffler prevents exhaust gas leaks at the outlet, which is critical for operator safety on enclosed or semi-enclosed worksites.
The muffler on a diesel generator serves two essential functions: it dissipates the pressure pulses produced by each combustion cycle to reduce exhaust noise, and it directs spent exhaust gases safely away from the engine and operator. On Multiquip's DCA super-silent series, the muffler is a key part of the acoustic enclosure system — a cracked, corroded, or poorly fitting muffler undermines the unit's noise rating and can allow exhaust gases to accumulate around the machine. Replacing a damaged muffler with the correct OEM part, such as the B3331102203, restores both the acoustic and emissions performance the generator was designed to deliver.
