The Multiquip C1327100103 Breather Pipe is a genuine OEM component designed for DCA-220SSK series diesel-powered generators. Sourced directly from Multiquip, this part meets the original engineering specifications for the DCA-220SSK and DCA220SSK-GEER units, giving you confidence in fitment and long-term function. As a genuine OEM replacement, it installs directly in place of the original without modification, restoring the engine's crankcase ventilation system to proper working order.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — Manufactured to the exact material and dimensional tolerances of the original Multiquip breather pipe, ensuring the ventilation pathway performs as the engine was designed to operate.
- Direct-Fit Replacement — Designed to connect to the existing mounting points and fittings on DCA-220SSK series generators, allowing straightforward installation during scheduled maintenance or repair.
- Compatible with DCA-220SSK Series — Confirmed fitment for DCA-220SSK and DCA220SSK-GEER diesel-powered generator models.
- Crankcase Pressure Regulation — A properly functioning breather pipe prevents pressure buildup inside the engine crankcase, protecting seals and gaskets from premature failure caused by excess internal pressure.
- Fuel and Oil Contamination Prevention — Maintains the separation of crankcase vapors from the intake and fuel system, helping protect engine internals from oil contamination and carbon buildup over time.
The breather pipe is a critical part of the engine's crankcase ventilation system. It routes blow-by gases and excess pressure out of the crankcase, preventing oil leaks, seal damage, and the buildup of harmful pressure inside the engine. When a breather pipe cracks, clogs, or becomes disconnected, crankcase pressure rises and can force oil past gaskets and seals — leading to oil consumption, rough running, and accelerated engine wear. Keeping this component in good condition is essential to the overall health and service life of the generator's engine.
