The Multiquip C2454302804 Duct DCA-300SSK2 is a genuine OEM duct designed for the DCA-300SSK2 ultra-silent generator. Sourced directly from Multiquip, this replacement duct matches the original component specification and installs into the DCA-300SSK2 without modification. Keeping the air flow path intact is critical to the generator's thermal management and acoustic enclosure performance, making this an essential service part for operators maintaining their unit in peak condition.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — Manufactured to Multiquip's original design tolerances, ensuring the duct maintains its intended airflow geometry and enclosure seal within the DCA-300SSK2.
- Direct-Fit Replacement — Engineered specifically for the DCA-300SSK2 ultra-silent generator series, so it seats and connects exactly as the original component did.
- Confirmed Fitment — Compatible with the DCA-300SSK2 ultra-silent diesel generator; verify your model code before ordering to ensure correct application.
- Thermal and Acoustic Integrity — A properly installed duct channels cooling air through the enclosure efficiently, protecting internal components from heat build-up and preserving the unit's noise-reduction performance.
- Long-Term Enclosure Performance — Using the correct OEM duct prevents air bypass and hot spots that can lead to premature engine or alternator wear over extended run cycles.
The duct in a DCA-series ultra-silent generator is a formed channeling component that directs cooling airflow through the generator's sound-attenuating enclosure. By routing air across the engine and alternator in a controlled path, it prevents heat from accumulating inside the enclosure during operation. When a duct becomes cracked, deformed, or missing, airflow is disrupted, thermal protection is compromised, and the generator's acoustic performance can degrade — potentially leading to unplanned shutdowns or accelerated component wear.
