The Multiquip EM97005 Bleed Off Cartridge is a genuine OEM component designed for ST-70 submersible pump equipment. Sourced directly from Multiquip, this cartridge meets the exact specifications required to maintain correct pressure relief within the pump system. It is a direct-fit replacement for ST-70 models, installing into the existing port without modification to surrounding hardware. Keeping this cartridge in proper working condition is essential for protecting the pump from pressure buildup and maintaining consistent output.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — Manufactured to Multiquip's exact tolerances for the bleed off circuit, ensuring the cartridge seats, seals, and functions as the original did from day one.
- Direct-Fit Replacement — Engineered to drop into the existing cartridge port on ST-70 submersible pumps with no reaming, threading, or adapter hardware required.
- ST-70 Submersible Pump Compatibility — Verified fitment for the Multiquip ST-70 submersible pump platform, so you can order with confidence.
- Pressure Circuit Integrity — A functioning bleed off cartridge keeps excess pressure routed correctly; a failed or worn cartridge can cause erratic flow, pressure spikes, or pump damage.
- Long-Term Hydraulic Reliability — OEM-grade materials resist the wear and fluid exposure common in submersible pump environments, extending service intervals between cartridge replacements.
A bleed off cartridge is a hydraulic valve component that diverts a controlled volume of fluid away from the main pressure circuit, preventing over-pressurization within the pump system. It acts as a pressure management device — when the system reaches its operating threshold, the cartridge opens to route excess fluid safely back to the reservoir or discharge path. When this cartridge wears, clogs, or fails, the pump may experience pressure irregularities, reduced discharge performance, or internal component stress that can lead to more serious mechanical damage if left unaddressed.
