The Multiquip 1161270215 is a genuine OEM EGR DCA400SSIC Cooler designed for the DCA400SSIC ultra-silent diesel generator. Sourced directly from Multiquip, this part meets the exact specifications required for the DCA400SSIC platform, ensuring a correct, hassle-free installation. If you are servicing or restoring your DCA400SSIC generator's exhaust gas recirculation system, this is the correct OEM component to spec.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Cooling Integrity — Built to the exact thermal and flow specifications required for proper EGR function on the DCA400SSIC, maintaining combustion efficiency and emissions compliance.
- Direct-Fit Installation — Engineered to match the OEM mounting points, inlet and outlet connections, and dimensions of the DCA400SSIC exhaust gas recirculation system for a straightforward swap.
- Confirmed DCA400SSIC Fitment — Verified for the Multiquip DCA400SSIC ultra-silent diesel generator series; always cross-reference part number 1161270215 before ordering.
- Sustained Engine Performance — A properly functioning EGR cooler keeps exhaust gas temperatures in check during recirculation, protecting the engine from heat-related wear and maintaining output under load.
- Emissions System Compliance — Replacing a failed EGR cooler with the correct OEM part helps keep the generator operating within its designed emissions parameters, which matters on regulated worksites.
The EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) cooler reduces the temperature of exhaust gases before they are reintroduced into the engine's intake system. By cooling these gases, the component helps lower peak combustion temperatures, which reduces nitrogen oxide emissions and protects internal engine components from excessive heat stress. When the EGR cooler fails — through coolant leaks, internal blockage, or core damage — the engine can run hotter than intended, trigger fault codes, and suffer accelerated wear, making timely replacement critical to keeping the generator operating correctly.
