Key Features
- Genuine OEM Fuel Delivery Spec — Built to the exact flow rate and pressure output required by the GBX12SK fuel system, not a generic approximation.
- Direct Drop-In Replacement — Matches the original mounting configuration and electrical connections of the factory-installed pump for a straightforward swap.
- Confirmed Balloon Systems Fitment — Verified for use with Balloon Systems equipment carrying the GBX12SK designation.
- Consistent Fuel Supply — A functioning electric fuel pump maintains steady fuel delivery to the engine; a failing pump causes hard starts, erratic running, or complete engine shutdown.
- Fuel System Integrity — OEM construction ensures correct seal materials and electrical ratings, reducing the risk of fuel leaks or premature pump failure in demanding operating conditions.
An electric fuel pump is responsible for drawing fuel from the tank and delivering it to the engine at the pressure and volume the carburetor or fuel system demands. Unlike a mechanical pump, an electric unit operates independently of engine speed, providing consistent fuel delivery from startup through full load. When an electric fuel pump begins to fail, symptoms typically include difficult starting, engine stalling under load, or a complete loss of fuel flow — all of which take the machine out of service until the pump is replaced.
