The Multiquip 1J81718950 Body Kit DCA40SSKU4F is a genuine OEM enclosure assembly designed for the DCA40SSKU4F ultra-silent diesel generator. As a direct OEM replacement sourced from Multiquip, this body kit delivers the exact fit and structural integrity required to maintain the generator's acoustic enclosure system. It is engineered specifically for the DCA40SSKU4F platform, ensuring all panel alignments, mounting points, and hardware interfaces match the original design without modification.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Enclosure Construction — Manufactured to the same structural and acoustic specifications as the original body panels, maintaining the sound-dampening performance the DCA40SSKU4F is built around.
- Direct Replacement for DCA40SSKU4F — All mounting points, panel profiles, and hardware interfaces correspond directly to the original enclosure layout for a clean, accurate installation.
- Compatible with DCA40SSKU4F Ultra-Silent Generators — Specifically validated for the DCA40SSKU4F diesel-powered generator platform within the Multiquip ultra-silent series.
- Structural Integrity Restored — Replaces damaged or degraded body panels to restore the generator's protective housing, shielding internal components from environmental exposure on the jobsite.
- Acoustic Enclosure Performance — A compromised body kit allows noise levels to rise and internal components to be exposed to dust, moisture, and debris — this replacement keeps the unit operating within its designed noise and protection parameters.
The body kit on a DCA-series ultra-silent generator forms the outer protective enclosure that houses all critical mechanical and electrical components. It serves a dual purpose: physically protecting the engine, alternator, and control systems from the elements, and providing the sound-attenuating shell that gives the DCA40SSKU4F its low noise output rating. When body panels are cracked, corroded, or missing, the generator loses both its environmental protection and its acoustic performance, which can impact compliance with noise ordinances on sensitive work sites. Replacing the body kit with the correct OEM assembly restores both functions fully.
