The Multiquip 48343 Fuel Tank Strap is a genuine OEM component designed for the HTXG6DF hydrostatic ride-on power trowel. Sourced directly from Multiquip, this strap meets the exact specifications required to secure the fuel tank in place on HTXG6DF machines. As a genuine OEM part, it delivers the correct fit and material grade the machine was built around, with no guesswork on compatibility. If you're servicing or rebuilding an HTXG6DF trowel, part number 48343 is the correct replacement to restore proper fuel system mounting.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — Manufactured to Multiquip's original design spec, ensuring the correct material strength and bracket geometry for secure fuel tank retention on the HTXG6DF.
- Direct-Fit Replacement — Engineered to mount in the original mounting position with existing hardware, simplifying the swap during scheduled service or field repair.
- Confirmed HTXG6DF Fitment — Verified for Whiteman HTXG6DF hydrostatic ride-on power trowels; check your model plate before ordering to confirm applicability.
- Fuel System Integrity — A correctly installed fuel tank strap keeps the tank properly positioned, preventing movement, vibration-related wear on fuel lines, and potential leak points during operation.
- Fuel System Safety — A failed or missing tank strap allows the fuel tank to shift under vibration, creating stress on fuel connections and increasing the risk of fuel leaks on an active machine.
The fuel tank strap is a retention component that holds the fuel tank firmly in its mounted position on the machine frame. On a ride-on power trowel like the HTXG6DF, which operates under continuous engine vibration, a secure strap is essential to prevent the tank from shifting and placing stress on connected fuel lines and fittings. When a strap cracks, stretches, or breaks, the tank loses its fixed position — leading to fuel line strain, potential leaks, and the need to stop work for unplanned repairs.
