Key Features
- Genuine OEM Engine Assembly — Sourced directly from Multiquip as the certified OEM power unit, ensuring correct displacement, output rating, and emissions compliance for this generator application.
- Kubota Z482-E4B Power Plant — The Z482-E4B is a two-cylinder, liquid-cooled diesel engine known for its compact footprint and consistent power delivery in generator-duty cycles.
- Confirmed Model Fitment — Engineered specifically for DA7000SSA3 and TLG8SSK4F2 diesel-powered generator models; install directly into the existing engine bay without modification to mounting or drive interfaces.
- Sustained Generator Output — A correctly matched engine maintains stable RPM under load, which is critical for consistent AC frequency and voltage output from the generator head.
- Emissions-Compliant Design — The Z482-E4B designation reflects Kubota's Tier 4 Final emissions certification, keeping your generator unit compliant with current EPA and CARB regulatory requirements.
The engine is the core power source of a diesel generator set, converting fuel combustion into the mechanical rotation that drives the alternator to produce electrical output. In generator applications, engine stability directly affects power quality — an aging or failed engine can cause voltage fluctuations, frequency drift, or complete loss of output. Replacing a worn engine with the correct OEM unit, the Multiquip A5924200174 Kubota Z482-E4B Engine, restores the generator to its original rated capacity and ensures the machine meets the load demands it was designed to handle.
