The Multiquip EE40427 Air Filter Assembly is a genuine OEM Air Filter Assembly designed for TAD722GE series equipment. As a factory-sourced component, it delivers the exact filtration performance specified for the Volvo TAD722GE engine, ensuring a direct, hassle-free installation. DHS Equipment stocks this part to help you get your machine back up and running with full confidence in the replacement.
Key Features
- OEM Filtration Specification — Engineered to the exact media density and airflow rating required by the Volvo TAD722GE engine, so combustion efficiency and air intake protection meet original design intent.
- Drop-In Assembly Fit — Supplied as a complete assembly, this unit connects directly to the TAD722GE intake system with no modifications to housing or mounting hardware.
- TAD722GE Compatibility — Specifically sourced and validated for TAD722GE powered equipment in the Multiquip lineup, eliminating guesswork when ordering.
- Engine Protection Where It Counts — A correctly functioning air filter keeps contaminants out of the combustion chamber; a clogged or failed unit accelerates internal engine wear and increases fuel consumption.
- Fuel System Compliance — Maintaining a clean, properly sealed air intake is critical to fuel delivery accuracy on diesel engines; using the correct OEM assembly helps preserve injector life and engine tune.
The air filter assembly is the engine's first line of defense against airborne contaminants — dust, debris, and fine particulate that would otherwise enter the combustion chamber and cause accelerated cylinder wear. On a Volvo TAD722GE engine, the assembly must deliver consistent, unrestricted airflow while maintaining a tight seal against unfiltered bypass air. When the filter element becomes saturated or the housing seal deteriorates, engine output drops, fuel efficiency suffers, and long-term internal wear accelerates. Replacing it with the correct OEM assembly restores full intake performance and protects the engine investment.
