The Multiquip EE61489 Red Cap Plug is a genuine OEM component designed for the DCA70SSIU4F Super-Silent Generator series. As a direct OEM replacement, this cap plug is produced to Multiquip's original specifications, ensuring the correct fitment, color coding, and sealing performance your machine requires. Sourced directly through authorized supply channels, this is the same part installed at the factory — no guesswork on compatibility.
Key Features
- OEM Color-Coded Identification — Red designation ensures correct port identification and prevents misconnection during service and maintenance procedures.
- Genuine OEM Construction — Manufactured to Multiquip's original material and dimensional specifications, delivering the same sealing integrity as the original installed component.
- Direct Drop-In Replacement — Engineered to seat and secure exactly as the original, with no reworking of surrounding ports or fittings required.
- Confirmed Super-Silent Generator Fitment — Verified for the DCA70SSIU4F Super-Silent Generator; always cross-reference your model and serial number before ordering.
- Protects Open Ports from Contamination — A correctly fitted cap plug keeps dust, moisture, and debris out of open hydraulic, fuel, or coolant ports during service intervals, preventing costly internal damage.
A cap plug is a protective closure used to seal open ports, fittings, or fluid passages when components are removed, serviced, or temporarily disconnected. On generator equipment like the Super-Silent series, cap plugs play a critical role in keeping contaminants out of sensitive systems during maintenance. When a cap plug is missing, damaged, or incorrectly sized, it leaves ports exposed to debris and moisture ingress — which can cause system contamination, corrosion, or premature component failure. Using the correct OEM-specified plug ensures a proper seal and maintains system integrity throughout the service process.
