Key Features
- Genuine OEM Material Grade — Manufactured to the original material and dimensional specification, delivering the same compression and sealing performance as the factory-installed cap.
- Color-Coded Identification — The distinctive red color allows technicians to quickly identify and locate protective caps during service, inspection, or reassembly, reducing the chance of an uncapped port being missed.
- Direct Port and Fitting Coverage — Sized and shaped to seat securely over the intended port or fitting on the DCA70SSIU4F without modification or adapter hardware.
- Verified Fitment for DCA Super-Silent Series — Confirmed compatibility with the DCA70SSIU4F Super-Silent Generator, keeping your replacement on the correct spec for this platform.
- Contamination and Damage Prevention — Keeps dust, debris, and moisture out of open ports and fittings during service intervals, transport, or storage, protecting precision internal components from contamination.
A caplug is a simple but important protective cover used to seal open ports, fittings, or fluid passages on equipment during service, storage, or transport. On a generator like the DCA70SSIU4F, exposed ports left unprotected can allow dirt, moisture, or debris to enter fluid systems or connection points, potentially causing contamination or corrosion. When a caplug is missing or damaged, the integrity of that protection is lost — using the correct OEM replacement ensures the seal and fit perform exactly as intended for that application.
