The Multiquip M2494300004 Acoustic Sheet is a genuine OEM component designed for the DCA70SSJU4i ultra-silent diesel generator. As a direct OEM replacement, this sheet is manufactured to the exact material grade and dimensional specification required by Multiquip, ensuring it seats and seals correctly within the enclosure. Confirm your model code against your serial plate before ordering — M2494300004 is the verified part number for DCA70SSJU4i applications.
Key Features
- OEM Material Specification — Manufactured to the same acoustic-grade material standard as the original, maintaining the sound-dampening density and compression properties the enclosure was engineered around.
- Direct Enclosure Fit — Cut and profiled to match the original mounting surfaces exactly, so the sheet installs flush without trimming or shimming.
- Confirmed Fitment — Validated for the Multiquip DCA70SSJU4i ultra-silent generator series.
- Noise Attenuation Integrity — A worn, torn, or missing acoustic sheet allows sound waves to escape the enclosure, undermining the ultra-silent rating of the unit. Replacing it restores the generator to its rated decibel performance.
- Genuine OEM Part — Sourced directly from Multiquip, carrying the full assurance of an authorized replacement with the correct part number M2494300004.
The acoustic sheet is a sound-absorbing lining panel fitted inside the generator's enclosure. Its role is to absorb and dampen mechanical and combustion noise generated by the engine and alternator, which is what allows ultra-silent series generators like the DCA70SSJU4i to operate at low decibel levels suitable for noise-sensitive environments. When the sheet degrades, tears, or is improperly fitted, sound containment is compromised, the generator becomes noticeably louder, and the enclosure's designed noise rating can no longer be achieved.
