The Multiquip M3494400404 Acoustic Sheet is a genuine OEM component designed for the DCA125SSJU4I and DCA125SSJU4i 60Hz super-silent diesel generator series. As a direct OEM replacement, this part is manufactured to the same specifications as the original, ensuring a correct fit within the generator's sound-attenuation enclosure. Sourced directly through authorized Multiquip supply channels, the M3494400404 is the verified replacement for these ultra-silent generator models.
Key Features
- OEM Sound-Dampening Material: — Engineered to the same density and absorption rating as the original, maintaining the enclosure's noise-reduction performance.
- Direct Enclosure Fit: — Matches the original panel dimensions and mounting configuration for a flush, gap-free installation inside the generator housing.
- Confirmed Fitment: — Verified for DCA125SSJU4I and DCA125SSJU4i 60Hz super-silent diesel generators.
- Noise Level Integrity: — A damaged or missing acoustic sheet allows sound to escape the enclosure, raising operational decibel levels and potentially violating noise ordinances on sensitive jobsites.
- Enclosure Seal Support: — Works in conjunction with surrounding insulation panels to maintain the thermal and acoustic integrity of the generator cabinet.
The acoustic sheet is a sound-absorbing liner installed inside the generator's enclosure panels to reduce the noise produced by the engine and alternator during operation. It works by converting mechanical sound energy into heat through its absorbent material, keeping exterior noise levels within the low-decibel range that defines a super-silent generator. When the sheet becomes torn, compressed, or missing, the enclosure loses its dampening effectiveness, allowing significantly more noise to radiate outward — a critical issue in noise-sensitive environments such as film sets, hospitals, and residential areas.
