The Multiquip Y0602311147 Exhaust Insulating Material is a genuine OEM component designed for the DCA220SSJU4F super-silent diesel generator series. Sourced directly from Multiquip, this part meets the exact material and dimensional standards of the original component installed at the factory. It is confirmed for use with the DCA220SSJU4F, including the 60Hz diesel-powered configuration. Ordering by part number Y0602311147 ensures you receive the correct insulating material for your machine.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Thermal Material — Manufactured to the original insulation grade and density spec, ensuring proper heat retention and surface temperature management along the exhaust path.
- Direct Drop-In Replacement — Matches the original profile and fastening points of the DCA220SSJU4F exhaust system for a straightforward installation.
- Confirmed Fitment — Verified for DCA220SSJU4F super-silent generators, including the 60Hz diesel-powered variant.
- Preserves Acoustic Performance — Proper exhaust insulation contributes to the low-noise operation that defines the super-silent generator series; degraded insulation can allow heat transfer and radiated noise to increase.
- Heat and Safety Compliance — Exhaust insulating material limits surface temperatures on surrounding components and enclosure panels, reducing thermal stress and burn hazard in enclosed generator housings.
Exhaust insulating material wraps or lines the exhaust system within a generator enclosure to contain heat, direct it away from sensitive components, and reduce radiated surface temperatures. In a super-silent generator like the DCA220SSJU4F, where the entire power unit operates inside a sound-attenuating enclosure, effective exhaust insulation is critical to managing internal heat buildup and protecting nearby wiring, fuel lines, and acoustic panels. When this material deteriorates, cracks, or falls away, heat distribution inside the enclosure becomes uneven, accelerating wear on adjacent components and potentially triggering thermal shutdowns.
