The Genie 1266643GT is a genuine OEM Engine Oil Filter for the Kohler KDW1003 engine, built for the RL4 light tower. As a direct OEM replacement, this filter matches the original specification exactly — no guesswork on compatibility when it comes time for routine engine maintenance. Confirm part number 1266643GT against your machine's parts manual to ensure it is the correct filter for your unit before ordering.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Filtration Quality — Built to the same media grade and construction as the factory-original filter, ensuring proper particle capture and flow characteristics for the Kohler KDW1003 engine.
- Exact-Fit Replacement — Designed to mount directly in place of the original filter with correct thread engagement and sealing surface geometry — no adapters or modifications needed.
- Confirmed Fitment for the RL4 Light Tower — Sourced specifically for the Kohler KDW1003-equipped RL4, so you can order with confidence that this is the right part for your machine.
- Engine Protection at Every Service Interval — A correctly rated oil filter removes contaminants that cause premature engine wear. Running an incorrect or degraded filter risks oil bypass and accelerated internal damage.
- Supports Scheduled Maintenance Compliance — Using the correct OEM filter helps maintain engine service records and supports manufacturer maintenance requirements for the RL4.
An engine oil filter traps dirt, metal particles, and contaminants that accumulate in the engine oil during operation, preventing them from circulating through the engine's internal components. On a light tower like the RL4, the engine runs for extended periods to power the lighting system, making clean, filtered oil essential to long engine life. A clogged or incorrect filter can reduce oil flow, cause pressure issues, or allow unfiltered oil to bypass the filter element entirely — leading to accelerated wear and potential engine damage.
