Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — Manufactured to original Genie specifications for the GM 3.0L engine, ensuring dimensional conformity and material consistency with the factory part.
- Direct OEM Replacement — Designed to install in place of the original outlet, connecting to the existing coolant routing and thermostat housing without alteration.
- Confirmed Fitment — Built specifically for the Genie Z-80/60 articulating boom lift equipped with the GM 3.0L engine.
- Coolant Circuit Integrity — A sound thermostat outlet maintains a sealed coolant passage at the thermostat housing exit point; a cracked or leaking outlet allows coolant loss and can lead to engine overheating.
- Backed by Genie OEM Supply — Sourced directly through the Genie OEM parts channel, so you receive the correct part with the correct part number every time.
The thermostat outlet is the housing fitting — typically located at the top of the thermostat housing — through which coolant exits toward the radiator once the thermostat opens. It forms a sealed junction between the engine's cooling passages and the upper coolant hose. When this outlet cracks, warps, or develops a leak at its sealing surface, coolant escapes the circuit and the engine loses the ability to maintain operating temperature, which can result in overheating and unplanned downtime on the job. Replacing a damaged outlet with the correct OEM part restores the integrity of the sealed connection and keeps the cooling circuit functioning as designed on the Z-80/60.
